Wat fijn, al die mooie berichtjes. Nee, Erikje wordt niet vergeten. Hij zit in de gedachten van teveel mensen. En nee, hij rust niet zacht, maar snoeihard. Hij zit lekker te jammen met Benno, Keith Moon en alle anderen met wie hij zo graag nog had willen spelen!

Ben het helemaal met je eens Pascal. Zeer triest om zo aan je einde te komen. Zo"n geweldig persoon. Dit kan toch niet . Heel veel sterkte allemaal.

Iedereen heel veel sterkte toegewenst met dit verlies ik herinner me Erik van vooral van de keren dat Yawp! heeft opgetreden tijdens de Pinhead Party in Pardoes en uiteraard tijdens het omstreden feest op het weiland samen met NRA en the Blitz babiez in Hoogwoud. Ook funaral Oration was voor mij een van de eerst kennis making met punk muziek.

Rust niet te zacht Erikje. Ze zullen vast wel een drumstel daar ergens boven hebben. Wat een bizar einde. Dat wens je niemand toe.

Erg triest om te horen dat Erik het leven heeft gelaten op een veel te jonge leeftijd. De vele herinneringen aan Erik met zijn bands Gepopel, Funeral Oration en Yawp die blijven levend. Rust in vrede. Paul & Olav (larm - seein red )

Het overlijden van Erik is heel triest. Erik was een heel toffe gozer met het hart op de goede plaats. Naast een zeer verdienstelijk drummer een jongen waar je op kon bouwen. Heeft zeker tien keer in Pardoes opgetreden, als het niet meer is geweest met de diverse bands waarin hij heeft gespeeld. Ook op Zomerpop was Erik van de partij met Funeral Oration. Het was altijd een feest om hem en zijn bandleden te mogen ontvangen in Hoogwoud en omstreken. We zullen Erik missen. Wij willen de nabestaanden heel veel sterkte wensen. Vanavond een mail van Niels de Wit: Erik is dood. Het is ruim tweeëntwintig jaar geleden dat ik met hem speelde in Gepøpel. Daarna zijn onze wegen gescheiden. Maar Erik vergeet je niet. Hij was toen spontaan, enthousiast en ongecompliceerd. Ik weet bijna zeker dat hij zo moet zijn gebleven. Wat een ellendige gebeurtenis. .. sterkte voor allen die rondom hem stonden.

Bad news travels fast. Sterkte.....

Dieptriest, veel te vroeg.... Was altijd gezellig om tegen te komen tijdens concerten/optredens. Herry, familie & vrienden veel sterkte gewenst.
